Crossway Mennonite Fellowship

Vision, Core Values & Purpose

Pursue Authentic Spirituality

  • Being Spirit-filled believers who reflect the character and priorities of Christ.
  • Pursuing a relationship with God instead of being satisfied with religion or the status quo.
  • Living our lives because we believe it is God’s call for us, not just because of tradition.
  • Doing things because they reflect the heart of God and glorify Him.

Passion for People

  • Caring about who they are, their stories, their pain and their hearts.
  • Doing what we can to walk with them on their journey of life.
  • Doing what we can to bring them into good positive relationships with God, others, and themselves.
  • Discovering our purpose and living that purpose with passion.

Support the Hurting and Needy

  • Being involved as people of mercy to the world.
  • Being involved in mission endeavors to the lost and lonely of our community and the world.
  • Being involved in reaching out to our community of believers and our community at large with acts of kindness and servant-hood.

Respect for the Authority of God’s Word

  • Intentionally following the literal teaching of God’s Word.
  • Embracing our conservative Anabaptist heritage and teaching.

What We Are About

  • Developing strong men, women and families of God, who passionately embrace Christianity, engage life and our culture with the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God.
  • Passionately following and living the Word of God from an Anabaptist perspective.

Why We Care About That

  • It is through strong men, women and families that our lives and the world will be changed for eternity.
  • We believe we as Christians must receive our direction for life from God’s Word rather than our culture.

How We Will Accomplish That

  • By discipling, teaching and training men to passionately follow God, and lovingly lead those for whom they are responsible, to do the same.
  • By discipling, teaching and training women to passionately follow God in their influential and supportive roles.
  • Developing strong families through healthy marriage relationships, youth that engage a life lived for God and safety for our children.
  • Using our Sunday Schools, church services and other opportunities to equip our children, youth and adults for the future, to the best of our ability.
